I Can't Believe It's Already ICLW Again!

I got to work today and realized it was ICLW and I didn't even realize it yesterday!  Ah!  I did read some blogs and comment yesterday, but not with as much purpose as I usually do (if that makes any sense).

Well, I am in my 2WW right now on our first cycle after the miscarriage.  If this isn't our month, we'll try a couple of IUIs.  I've eaten pineapple the last couple of days because I've heard it's good for implantation.  I've also been taking baby aspirin to keep blood flow going down there.  I also felt like I might be slightly constipated (I know, TMI, sorry) so I have been taking Colace and Peri-Colace.  My chiropractor gave me some enzymes that should have helped with that.  I think it did at first, but hasn't been working as well as I'd like.

I am going out of town to Dallas, TX for continuing education starting on Wednesday afternoon.  I haven't really been dwelling on it too much, but I am definitely going to start testing pretty early.  I got a positive OPK on day 19.  My cervix felt high, soft, open, and had EWCM on day 20.  My cycles are usually about 32 days.  So, I think I'll start testing on day 28 so that I can get to the RE ASAP if I get a positive to check on all my levels.

Does anyone else have any 2WW foods or activities they usually follow?

  1. When I was ttc I was told grapefruit was good. Possibly the same reason as pineapple, lots of Vit C. I used to drink a lot of water and try and eat really well. Even though I have never been pregnant longer than 6 weeks, each time I have started to feel pretty gross from the time I could take a test so I knew that my appetite would soon be disappearing! Wishing you all the very best.

  2. Good luck on this cycle!

And don't feel bad about not starting ICLW on Sunday. I remembered to post my welcome post, but only started on the blogs today. I am so bad this time around.

  4. Happy ICLW! And I'll say a prayer tonight for you, hope you get happy news very soon :-)

(One thing I have heard is that you should eat the core of the pineapple for implantation, not the actual fruit/meat. I also heard about brazil nuts are also beneficial.)

  5. I too heard the grapefruit thing... not sure if it helps, but it's good for you. I take b vitamins specifically to help strengthen my luteal phase (I do have a progesterone deficiency) and I can definitely tell the difference in cycles when I haven't taken them.

    Blessings on your tww!

  6. I have heard about the pineapple thing.

One think you can try before ovulation is Femoral massage. By stopping the flow of blood in the femoral artery it brings more blood flow to the uterus. Here is a youtube like on it

  9. I know that when I was in the TWW - other then over analyzing every symptom ... and testing way to early most the time... LOL... I took it as easy as possible because I have had 14 miscarriages, if could have stood on my head I would have....

    GOOD LUCK!!!
